It would be nice if the dashboard stored quantity graphs didn't add up all the different classes of lentils (large green, small green, red, etc.) into one total amount as they are marketed and valued quite differently. Also the same would be nice for the different classes of wheat (HRS, CPS, Special Purpose, etc.). Durum has it's own graph separate from the other wheats, so it seems like it would be easy to do with the other classes also.
Thanks! We are exploring this option.
No, not variety, I want them segregated by crop type. There are many varieties of red lentils. There are many varieties of large green lentils. But large green lentils don't have anything in common with red lentils and shouldn't show up grouped together. The should be completely different crop types.
Thank you for the clarification. In summary, you would like an easier way to view inventory broken down by crop variety?
You marked this as already exists but it doesn’t. The suggestion is to make each type of lentil (red, large green, small green, etc.) into separate crop types. Right now durum wheat is a separate crop type from wheat and that works good for checking your inventory levels quickly. But you have to do a bunch of filtering and manual calculations to determine your inventory levels for each type of lentil right now.
Hi, you can view different varieties of crops under Inventory > Storage Transactions > Stored Inventory Summary.
