I would find it useful to be able to plan out a rotation. I could choose the field from the map (or list) then choose the crop and the year and be able to do that for years forward or back. When creating this i do not need to know details of planting rate or any details other than the crop that will be grown (ie Barley or Alfalfa). Then, when i am satisfied with the projected rotation, I can choose all of the fields that will be getting a particular crop and enter in the planned planting or other operations.
