AgExpert Field Ideas

Liquid inputs conversions are highly inaccurate!

Example:

1) Add new fertilizer. 28-0-0 UAN.

2) Set purchase price to $300 per tonne.

3) Set default application to 30 US GAL per acre.

3) Set density to 10.63 lbs per US GAL, equal to 207.39 US GAL per tonne if manually calculated,

Actual cost is $1.45 per US GAL X 30 = $43.50 per acre...but the system is calculating $210,916,246.06

    Hi Scott,

Thanks for submitting your issue and sorry for my late reply.  We're aware of the bug and are currently developing a replacement for the Activities page that will improve performance and fix conversion calculation inaccuracies such as your example.   It will be available in our next release.

In the meantime, the correct dollar value can be found in the field dashboard under the inputs section.

If you have any more questions, please let me know.

    Thanks,

    Chris
