I have fields that are in hay but it never shows up that it is in hay for the current crop year. 90% of the time we silage our under-seeded land. By selecting that option under activities, this doesn't allow me to enter an amount produced. At the moment we do both silage in a pit and silage bales. In the next year it wont show up as hay. At the moment there is a very complicated way to work around this that will end up, 1 not getting silage into inventory, 2 producing a crop which we don't have in inventory, and last, the fields don't have a rotation history and information is missed from crop planning. Most hay fields stay in for 4-6 years, depending on the variety.

Do you need the ability to track an amount (tonnes) when doing a silage activity, and then separately track silage inventory outside of a regular harvested crop?
